Abby's tote bag

Abby's navy blue tote bag is finished. The background is navy, and it has a cream colored scroll pattern on it. The fabric on the inside of the bag is cream colored toile. It has a 4 inch pocket on the outside and also on the inside. The strap is long so it will fit over the shoulder, across the body. Abby is Sierra's friend and saw her bag and wanted one. The Lexa Dress

The Lexa dress. This is my favorite dress! I have two variations to show you. The second one I made a little different than the first; you will see when I get those pictures done.

New Arrivals!!

We have some new pictures to show you! These are some projects I've worked on this summer. The new arrivals are the Madison dress, the Sierra red twirly skirt, the white eyelet blouse and the scripture tote. Each one is unique and was so fun to make. I think my favorite is the red twirly skirt, but then I just love red. My least favorite to make was the scripture tote. It is a little annoying to get the lining just right in a pre-made bag. It's much easier to "make the bag from scratch", than to line it after the fact. It turned out cute despite the time it took to complete.

I saw two little girls with these bags in a store. They were carrying their little books and toys. So a few days later at another store I saw one for sale. It was very flimsy made and looked like it should cost one or two dollars. I bought one, brought it home, and used it as a pattern to cut out my own version. It has 2 prints of fabric, one for the inside and one for the outside. The strap is approximately 44 inches long, and goes over the head and across the body to the side like a sling. My design has pockets on the outside for cell phone or keys, and 2 pockets on the inside. Each one is unique. Some versions have an outside side zipper across the bag. I will have pictures to show soon, so keep checking in.

The "Emily" Capri Set

The Emily Capri set is a two-piece set made with contrasting colors. The top has a gathered skirt sewn to the bodice with side ties. The back has button closure. The capris have an elastic waist and coordinating ruffle at bottom. This outfit can be worn in summer as it is or in the cooler months with a t-shirt or turtleneck. Model is wearing a size 8 girls. Sizes range from size 7 to 11 girls.
